Rules and Format:

• Straight NAFA Book rules with the following modifications:
  - In pool play, coin flip will determine home team - no dugout designation.
  - In bracket games, higher seed is home team. If teams are the same seed, a coin flip will determine home team.
• Winning teams should report score to scorer's table.
• Please be ready to play 20 minutes prior to scheduled game time.
• Time limit: Pool Play - 1:20, finish the inning (pool play games can end in a tie; international tie-breaker after seven innings if time remains). Bracket Play: 1:20, finish the inning. No time limit for championships games except 10U (1:40, finish the inning)
• No "If-Game" -- winner-take-all championship game

BATTING

• Teams can bat the roster. If you bat the roster, then you may use last batted out for courtesy runner. If you do not bat the roster, then courtesy runners are available subs only for the entire game (pool play: substitutes not currently in the game; bracket play: substitutes who have not been in the game)
• If you bat the roster, and a player gets injured or leaves the game for any reason: Pool play: Absent player's spot will be skipped with no out; Bracket play: Absent player's spot will be recorded as an out.

OTHER

• Run rules: 12 runs after three innings; 10 after four innings; eight after five innings.
• No infield/outfield between innings after the first inning.
• Five pitches for each pitcher in the first inning and three pitches between innings. New pitchers will get five pitches.
