2024 NAFA Nationals
Registration will open in the fall of 2023 for the 2024 tournaments.
How to Qualify for NAFA Nationals
1) Teams that place 1st and 2nd in their respective division in NAFA sanctioned events receive a berth to attend NAFA Nationals. A list of those tournaments are available on the tournaments page.
* Some tournaments may provide additional berths beyond 1st and 2nd place.*
2) Top four finishing teams at each age group in all NAFA Illinois and Wisconsin fall and spring tournaments.
3) All participating teams from the NAFA College Exposure tournaments in IL and WI receive berths to attend NAFA Nationals.
4) State, Regional, and National Directors may provide "At Large" berths for teams to attend Nationals. Find your director.
** Receiving a berth means you have met all obligations to be able to register / qualify for nationals. Teams are still responsible for the associated entry and gate fee.
Booking Your Hotel Stay
NAFA National Tournament Host Hotels. We strongly encourage you set up a team block at a participating hotel as soon as possible as rooms fill fast. Our hotel team works closely with hotels to ensure they remain in business and can accommodate the needs of each team.
NAFA has made every effort to ensure your team’s trip to attend our NAFA National tournaments are as simplified and economic as possible. We recommend teams use our online reservation tool for their housing needs. Do not contact the hotels directly.

NAFA Team Registration
Teams need to be registered to participate in NAFA sanctioned events. There are two steps that will need to be completed.
1) Complete the online registration (Online NAFA Team Registration).
2) Send $30 NAFA Membership fee

NAFA Lexington MN 8U National Tournament 2023
July 22/Pool Play (2 games)
* Game times: 8, 9:15, 10:30, and 11:45 a.m.; 2:30, 3:45, 5, and 6:15 p.m.
July 23/Bracket Play (guaranteed 2 games)
* Games begin at 8 a.m. All three championships at 6:15 p.m.
4-game guarantee, 24 teams
Brackets: Gold, Silver, Bronze
Fields: Lexington Memorial Park
$250 registration fee payable to NAFA.
Gate fee $100 per team used to pay for field rental and field maintenance is paid to Centennial Lakes Softball on first day.
8U Parade of Teams: Saturday, July 22 at 1 p.m.
Gift Exchange: first pool play opponent ($10-12 max per bag)

Dates: July 20-23, 2023
Format: 5-game guarantee, 86 teams
* Teams will play twice on Thursday with a third pool game on Friday morning, or once on Thursday and twice on Friday. Bracket play begins on Friday afternoon for bronze and silver teams. All teams are guaranteed to play into Saturday.
Bracket play: Gold, Silver, Bronze
Fields: Lamar Park 1-4, Grey Cloud Elementary Fields 1-5, Cottage Grove Middle School 2 & 4, Collins Park 1
$650 registration fee payable to NAFA. Gate fee $200 per team used to pay for field rental and field maintenance is paid to CGAA Softball at check-in.
Single umpire until final rounds on Sunday; two-man for trophy games.
Parade: Thursday, July 20 at 6 p.m. at Park High School
Skills Competition: Friday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cottage Grove Middle School
Awards: Top four teams in each bracket; team and individual.

Format: 5-game guarantee, 136 teams
* All teams will play two pool games on Thursday and one pool game on Friday. Bracket play begins on Friday afternoon. All teams are guaranteed to play into Saturday.
Bracket play: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze
Fields: Northview Park 1-8, Lexington-Diffley Fields 1-6 in Eagan, Harmon Park Fields 1-4 in West St. Paul.
$700 registration fee payable to NAFA. Gate fee $200 per team used to pay for field rental and field maintenance is paid to Eagan Fastpitch at coaches meeting.
Single umpire for all pool play games; two-man for all bracket games depending on umpire availability.
Parade: Thursday, July 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Eagan High School Football Stadium
Skills Competition: Friday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northview Park - JV Field on top of the hill

* All teams will play three pool games on Thursday and Friday. Bracket play begins on Friday afternoon. All teams are guaranteed to play into Saturday.

$700 registration fee payable to NAFA. Gate fee $200 per team used to pay for field rental and field maintenance is paid to Prior Lake Athletics for Youth (PLAY) or Lakeville Fastpitch Softball Association before the first game.
Two-man umpire crews for all pool and bracket games depending on umpire availability.
All games are no new inning after 75 minutes.
